Happy official last day of school! :~) I don't know whether to be sad or be happy about it. Its a happy thing because its officially the holidays and no more coming to school for no reason. But the sad thing is that, we kinda still have to come back to school for other activities so it doesn't make a difference and sec three life is seriously over! Which actually leads to the fact that sec 4 life is starting soon! TOO SOON. sigh...
The day was pretty much as lazy as it possibly could be. We had our farewell ceremony for Mr Keh, and I was part of the backstage crew. You might think we were gonna be busy and stuff, but nooooooo, we were actually slacking our butts off in the study room, haha. The PA crew did most of the work, well actually all of the work, and all we did was sit there and just enjoy the performances. We did very little work such as escorting the vice principals, passing the souvenir and yeah, that's about it. How helpful of us!!! Hahah, yeah right. Overall, it was quite a simple but serious farewell ceremony. Mr Keh was apparently crying tears of joy as said in his speech, and he was grateful yada yada yada.
Mr Keh had been a good principal actually! He's a caring person and very... wise. Especially when he speaks during speeches, REALLY wise that he can express his wisdom in a thousand words. Literally. He speaks like he's reading the whole bible! Geez, that man can make anyone sleep in a minute. Just saying.... but he's actually a very flexible principal (not literally. that would be weird.). He's not those strict ones that carries a cane and starts screaming his head off at students that walk very slowly to classes. Nope. He doesn't show up much but truthfully, he has been really nice to the students (I hope the teachers too) and I really hope the next principal would be as nice. Farewell Mr Keh! :~)
After the ceremony, we didn't do much. We just chilled in class because there were no lessons and we took pictures and videos as well. Unfortunately, all the videos I took were accidentally deleted. I don't know whether it was 'accidentally' but I should've transferred it first from the beginning. But noooo, I decided to update my iPod and here I am, video-less. Oh sad, sad life. Anywaaaaaay, we just waited and stoned around until we were called to the AVT for the end of year talk and the award presentation.
Glad to say 3/1 won the best NAPFA class! Woo hoo :~) And a couple of my classmates had gotten awards as well. Congratulations!!! As always, they talked about safety here and safety there. It was quite a short talk because Mrs Loo wasn't there! Haha, okay just kidding. Just that the new level director is not as long-winded as her, but I kinda miss Mrs Loo's talks.................. nah, not really.
Training was cancelled and I spent the rest of my day @ Mailey's house, just chilling out and watching movies :~) Also, Parish Youth Camp is on 29th and I haven't packed! Perfection. Feeling pretty excited but abit bummed as well, and I have no idea why. Hope everything goes well! Woo hoo :D
